A brief guide on classes, roles, companions and groups.
Companions of Floris Overview Rolf the son of Rolf from the great and ancient house of Rolf. He is a self-proclaimed noble from faraway lands who was accused of being a bandit and thus is willing to join your team for support. Craft the world - heroes for mac. He is renown for being quite seedy. Even though he appears to be obviously lying about his noble heritage he is still considered a noble and appointing him a fief will. Mar 21, 2017 EDIT: Hmm. Seems I'm an idiot. Now that I read the wiki again, it says you can send them only once, but I swear that I've seen people saying that they've send them more than once, even in 'guides'. RIP It seems that I can't send a companion to emissary mission second time. I read guides how to do it, but not sure what went wrong. First I sent Matheld and when I was able to send next one, I.
Guide to Companion Builds
CommonJoe: I went back to the base, vanilla game and started a new game (will get back into Floris later). Managed to get recognition as 'Lord' from the head of one of the factions, after dispatching emissary to wish him well. My game state:-Was not bordering the faction (though I was one unit of land away from doing so, and had expanded to that point fairly aggressively)-Had not taken any. After 500 hours in Mount and Blade, I finally figured out how to couch a lance For my first 500 hours, I thought the only way to use a lance was to click it and then release. I had noticed that if you ride in a straight line for long enough, the lance would automatically go into position, but I thought that was just an aesthetic feature.
Introduction
This took me awhile but I felt this was necessary to do. This was made for myself, but thought it would be helpful and cool for others to see. In advance, I will say that this is suited to my play style, thus my opinion on what I think fits best with whatever. You can always change what each characters classes and roles are. Whether you change from what I've recommended (as I do have multiple options for some companions) or you change them entirely. That is fine, suit your play style. Anyway, on with the guide.
In this guide, you will see:
- Classes and what weapons the classes will use.
- Roles and the aligned skills with those roles.
- Companions with their class and role.
- Companion group builds.

Other Remarks
All previously listed are what I think fits best from what I have gathered from looking through each companion's character sheet. You can always change what class or role a companion has that fit your play style.
As for group builds, again, they are very interchangable. I encourage experimentation on what group builds are the best. These builds are just something that I think are best.
